It is found in Sri Lanka, eastern India, Nepal, Thailand, central and eastern China, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, the southern Russian Far East, Taiwan, the Philippines (Luzon), East Malaysia and Indonesia. It is an introduced species in Hawaii.
