The common dragonet (Callionymus lyra), is a species of dragonet widespread in the Eastern Atlantic from southern Iceland and Norway south to Mauritania, including the northern Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar, and Algeria, western Black Sea, Aegean and Adriatic Sea, Azores and the Canary Islands.
